Event Details

Inmarsat would like to advise you of the forthcoming planned maintenances to the GX/JX Network. Inmarsat’s engineers will implement a software update in all ocean regions to enhance the terminals allocation processes and improve the terminal stability during Rain Diversity Switches.

During this activity, the GX/JX terminals will drop out of the network as detailed below:
Services affected: GX/JX Terminals
Outage Impact: The terminals will lose connectivity but will be automatically re-acquired into the network.
Actions needed by user: Re-start the terminal if it does not re-join the network
Single or Multiple Outage(s) and duration(s): One single, up to 10 minutes traffic interruption.
Date of outage: December 16th 2019
Ocean Region: IOR and WER
Start of Maintenance period: 21:00 UTC
End of Maintenance period: 23:59 UTC
