Event Details

Collins Aerospace would like to advise you that the planned maintenance to the GX/JX Network taking place March 11th will be extended by three more hours in order to complete the upgrade in the Pacific Ocean Region and on the stand-alone sites in the North and West Europe Regions as well as the broadcasting of the new network version to all terminals. This is due to unexpected delays on the software updates. This extension will cause brief interruptions to the GX/JX traffic as detailed below:

Date of Maintenance: March 12th 2020
Services affected: GX/JX Terminals
Ocean Region: POR, NER and WER
Start of Maintenance period: 00:00 UTC
End of Maintenance period: 03:00 UTC
Single or Multiple Outage(s) and duration(s): Multiple.
Up to 10 minutes traffic interruptions for each ocean region.
Up to 2 minutes per terminal during the over the air updates with an accumulated 30 minutes network degradation.
Impact: All terminals will lose connectivity but will be automatically re-acquired into the network.
Actions needed by user: Re-start the terminal if it does not re-join the network
